Beyond is for our entire church family.

No matter where we are in our faith journey, God is always encouraging and inspiring each of us to take our next step, and do our part in reaching people and building lives. Beyond is a strategic plan to expand our capacity as we prepare for what God has next through new and updated spaces. We are positioning our church to reach more people, develop more leaders, and see more lives changed. This is more than a building project—it’s a bold step of faith toward growth, ministry, and the future. We invite everyone to take their next step, and invest in what God is doing in and through The Journey as we move toward where He is calling us to go.

Our Story

In 2006, we stepped out in bold faith and answered God’s call to plant a brand-new church from scratch. With no building and no guarantees—just a clear vision and deep trust in Him—we began gathering in the gym of Midway High School. What started as a simple “yes” quickly became a growing, life-giving community. From the very beginning, our heart has been to build a multi-generational, multi-ethnic church where everyone feels welcome and at home—where every generation worships side by side and every story matters.

 

Six years later, God provided 13 acres of open pasture, paid for in full with cash. What was once a cow field became holy ground as we built a facility to meet the needs of that season. But even then, we knew it

was just the beginning. Our story has never been about buildings— it’s about faith, obedience, and creating space for more people to encounter Jesus. And just like in 2006, we believe the best is still ahead!

Expansion Overview

BUILD NEW WORSHIP CENTER

• New capacity of approximately 500 seats from our current 225 seats

• State-of-the-art auditorium creating space for people to worship and encounter Jesus

• Dedicated spaces for discipleship, leadership training, and new ministries

• Additional meeting rooms and environments for groups and gatherings

• Updated road and building signage to enhance visibility and welcome guests

NEXT GEN RENOVATION

• Reimagine and remodel our current facility to better serve the Next Generation

• Build a new playground to provide fun, connection, and community for our children

• Dedicated space for special needs ministry
